As the workshop is organizing by The Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) in collaboration with the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) and COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), on “Metagenomics-based Approach for Viral Disease Surveillance”. This capacity building event is scheduled to take place on September 16-19, 2024, in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The aforementioned workshop is aimed at developing an understanding of advanced statistical, algorithmic, and bioinformatics tools for integrating qualitative and quantitative models for descriptive and predictive analyses. These tools have applications in genomic surveillance, experimental design, data integration workflow with metagenomics, and multi-omics approaches for the early detection of emerging novel pathogens.
The deadline for the submission of applications (online) is 10th July 2024. The flyer of the workshop is also enclosed for information.
