The DAAD PhD scholarship programme “Research Grants - Doctoral Programmes in Germany, 2025/26” is now open for applications
This scholarship programme offers the opportunity to complete a doctoral degree in Germany. The scholarships are funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. Applicants who have an above-average qualifications and have completed a MS / MPhil degree may apply. The programme provides funding for a doctoral project at a state or state-recognised institution of higher education or a non-university research institute in Germany. This can be either as an individual project supervised by a doctoral supervisor or participation in a structured doctoral study programme. More information: daad.de/go/en/stipa57135739
Under the DAAD research Grant programme candidates have the option to apply to a full PhD programme, a short term Grant or a bi-nationally supervised programme
