Islamabad: A delegation from Edith Cowan University Australia led by Professor Daryoush Habibi, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean, School of Engineering accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Azhar, Lecturer, School of Engineering, Mr. Adam Bryers, International Manager and Ms. Sonia Aamir, Country Representative Pakistan visited COMSATS University Islamabad on November 1, 2022. The purpose of the visit was to explore academic and research collaboration and partnership opportunities between two universities.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad T. Afzal, Rector, CUI welcomed the delegation. He was accompanied by senior management of CUI comprising of Prof. Dr. Sajid Qamar, Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Shahzad A. Malik, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Laiq Khan, Chairperson, Electrical Engineering and Mr. Ali Tawab Baloch, Head, International Office. Both universities expressed their strengths and opportunities to collaborate in different areas. The delegation was shown different academic and research facilities and infrastructure of Islamabad campus. The visit is part of the internationalization efforts of the COMSATS University Islamabad to engage globally with leading universities of all continents of the world.
