Introduction

The department of Civil Engineering at CUI Sahiwal campus was established in April 2015, with the approval of the CUI Executive Committee (CEC) in its 85th meeting held on 2nd February, 2015subject to completion of all formalities including clearance from the Pakistan Engineering Council.

Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) Sahiwal. The field of Civil Engineering is among the oldest branches of engineering and its history starts millions of years ago, with the first settlement of humans on earth. It deals with the study of designing, constructing and maintaining infrastructure facilities for residence, transportation, and production necessary for human civilization. In addition to this, it refers to technologies to conserve the nature and achieve sustainable society.
