The Department of Computer Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus, organized an industrial visit to the National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies (NICAT) on May 14, 2025. The visit took place at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP), Rawalpindi.

Over 40 students from the 4th semester participated in this insightful visit, which aimed to expose them to real-world applications in aerospace technologies, including drone systems, satellite engineering, and aviation software. Students explored NICAT’s prototyping labs, testing facilities, and innovation hubs, gaining firsthand knowledge of the innovation lifecycle, startup ecosystems, and commercialization strategies in aerospace R&D.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Sarah Tims, Head of Community & Events at NICAT, who also shared her insights on the evolving aerospace landscape in Pakistan. As a gesture of appreciation, Ms. Tims presented souvenirs to Engr. M. Kamran Fiaz and Engr. Riaz Junejo.
