Participation of Faculty in Round Table Discussion on “Ground Water - Making the Invisible Visible” on 30 March 2022 at PCRWR

World Water Day 2022 with the theme "Groundwater - making the invisible visible" has been organized by PCRWR in partnership with IWMI, UNESCO, ADPC, UN-HABITAT, UNICEF, UNESCO Water Chair, ICIMOD, CCRD, COMSATS University Islamabad, WaterAid, ECOSF and Riphah International University. A round-table discussion was organized in which key water experts from the country were invited to throw light with reference to this year’s theme “Groundwater-making the invisible visible”. Dr. Toqeer Ahmed, Assistant Professor, CCRD, CUI participated in the said event as one of the panelists and represented CCRD, CUI. Experts highlighted the issues and possible solutions related to ground water under changing climate. Role of youth and women in raising awareness in ground water management has also been discussed.
