Implementation Status of Quality Assurance & Assessment Process

First Self-Assessment Cycle

Initially, the self-assessment process was started in CUI with the assessment of 5 academic programs of Management Sciences department as a Model department, and this assessment was completed in 2007. The first cycle of Self-Assessment of 29 programs of 8 departments at Islamabad campus was completed in 2010. In 2013 the first cycle of SA process of 18 programs of Management Sciences and Computer Science departments along with the Assessment Reports and Implementation Plans of 18 programs was completed in Wah and Attock campuses. In 2019 QEC was able to complete the 100% Self-Assessment process of all academic programs at all campuses The Self-Assessment process of 194 Academic Programs has been completed in 2019 at Islamabad, Sahiwal, Lahore and Vehari campuses successfully. QEC team has started the 2nd cycle of Self-Assessment process in all campuses and working on new targets set by HEC for the year 2020-21.

QEC is involved in the training of PTs of all departments at all campuses in the writing of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs).

Status of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) at Seven Campuses

QEC is involved in the training of PTs of all departments at all campuses in the writing of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs). So far the seven campuses including Islamabad, Abbottabad, Attock, Wah, Sahiwal, Lahore, and Vehari have been able to complete 112 SARs out of 143 academic programs offered by 39 departments of these campuses. The SARs of remaining 31 programs are in process.
