From the department’s inception, our focus has been on imparting quality engineering education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Currently the department offers three undergraduate degree programs in Electrical Engineering, Electrical (Electronics) Engineering, and Computer Engineering, which are all accredited under the prestigious outcome-based education framework of the Pakistan Engineering Council.

Our Masters and PhD programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering offer specializations in the emerging areas of Electric Power and Smart Grid Systems, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Telecommunications for 5G and beyond, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Controls and Automation, and Medical Imaging. Our research is supported by a strong base of 60+ PhD faculty members who have a proven track record of national/international competitive research funding, prestigious international publications, patents, as well as industrial linkages.

Our alumni are contributing to the industry and academia both nationally and abroad, and we welcome potential students to leverage our rich learning environment to pursue successful professional careers.
