The Department of Physics was established in Fall 2003 with the aim of producing highly competitive scientists, equipped with the most advanced technological tools of the modern era. It is committed to excellence in teaching and research and promoting a culture of learning and scientific enquiry. The department offers four-year B.S. programs in Physics and Electronics & Computing. It also has successful M.S., Ph.D. and the M.S. leading to Ph.D. program in Condensed Matter physics, Material Science, Plasma Physics, High energy physics, Computational physics, Laser photonics, Optoelectronic devices, Quantum Optics and Quantum Computing.
