The Department of Computer Science organized a seminar titled “Swift UIKit and UI/UX” on May 14, 2025. The event offered valuable insights into the Swift programming language and its critical role in iOS development, with a special emphasis on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.
The keynote speaker, Mr. Umair Khan—Senior Application Developer at ELEXOFT—shared his extensive industry experience and highlighted the growing demand for Swift in mobile development. He emphasized the importance of mastering iOS programming and encouraged students to explore career paths in mobile app development, extending an open invitation to those aspiring to become professional iOS developers.
The seminar was skillfully coordinated by Mr. Taimur Sajjad, Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science. It concluded with the presentation of a souvenir to Mr. Khan as a token of appreciation, followed by a vote of thanks from Dr. Sheraz Anjum, Head of the Department. The event underscored the department’s commitment to promoting industry-relevant knowledge and equipping students with cutting-edge skills for the evolving tech landscape.
