The Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) and the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) jointly organize the Khwarizmi International Award (KIA) annually. Founded in 1987 in memory of the great Iranian mathematician, and astronomer, KHWARIZMI, this award recognizes the remarkable efforts of researchers, innovators, and inventors from around the world and honors their outstanding contributions to science and technology. The laureates of the 39^th KIA will be announced and honored at an award ceremony in Tehran on February 16, 2026.

As part of our tradition, we invite international organizations to support the KIA by sending formal messages on the occasion of the award ceremony. We would be honored if D-8NPRI could contribute to this edition of the award by sending a message that will be published in the KIA bulletin and publicized by the press. The KIA bulletin will be distributed to attendees on the event day.
