Every year March 22 is observed as International World Water Day. This year the theme of Water Day was Water for All. In recognition of “World Water Day 2019”, the Department of Civil Engineering, COMSATS University Wah Campus under the umbrella of UNESCO Water Chair on Knowledge Systems for IWRM organized a Seminar on March 27, 2019 to advocate the sustainability of fresh water resources. The speaker Dr. Ali Naeem specialized in Engineering Hydrology, Assistant Professor from University of Engineering and Technology Taxila was invited to deliver the significance of water resource management. He talked on the cutting edge methodologies of saving water and impact of climate change. He emphasized on the need of discourage water wasting and improving sanitation problems in our surroundings. Large number of faculty members and students were attended the seminar.
