Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences! As the Head Department of Biosciences at COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus, I am enthusiastic about contributing to the advancement of education. Our department is dedicated to offering high-caliber, research-driven Bioscience-related education that prepares students for real-world issues in life sciences. As a forward-thinking University, we take pride in offering five industry-focused BS degree programs in Bioinformatics, Food Science and Nutrition, BS Biotechnology, and BS Agriculture. Our eminent PhD faculty members, specializing in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Health Biotechnology, Cell and Tissue culture, Recombinant DNA technology, and Forensic sciences mentor students across multiple domains for their final-year capstone projects. These fields carry Indigenous and global significance in the Software industry diagnostic laboratory, healthcare, pharmaceutical, food industry, agriculture, and livestock, COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus boasts a cutting-edge academic infrastructure and purposely created well-equipped laboratories, seeking to emerge as a national leader in biological sciences by promoting robust connections between academics and related industry.
