Embassy of Turkmenistan Delegation Visits COMSATS University Islamabad
December 5, 2025-COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation from the Embassy of Turkmenistan for an official meeting with Dr. Hammad Omer T.I. Head, International Office (IO) CUI.
The delegation was led by Mr. Bayram Yazov, First Secretary/Consul, accompanied by Mr. Eldar Permanov, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Turkmenistan.
During the visit, the esteemed diplomats presented the recently published book authored by the President of Turkmenistan, along with a collection of magazines showcasing Turkmenistan’s culture, heritage, and national developments. The presentation reflected Turkmenistan’s commitment to strengthening cultural diplomacy and fostering meaningful engagement with academic institutions in Pakistan.
The Head IO welcomed the delegation and appreciated the Embassy’s gesture, noting that such exchanges play a vital role in enhancing bilateral academic and cultural cooperation. Both sides discussed potential avenues for future collaboration, including student and faculty mobility, joint research initiatives, and cultural exchange programs.
The visit signifies the continuing efforts of CUI and the Embassy of Turkmenistan to deepen institutional ties and explore new opportunities that will benefit students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
