TechWomen Leadership USA Scholarship 2025

Description:           

The TechWomen program is a transformative opportunity for emerging women leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from around the world. This U.S. Department of State initiative connects participants with professional counterparts in the United States, enabling them to grow their careers, expand their networks, and become changemakers in their communities.

Grants:                                  Roundtrip international airfare from the participant’s home country to the United States.

  • Domestic airfare from San Francisco or Chicago to Washington, D.C.
  • Housing during the mentorship period in the San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago.
  • Meals and incidentals during the program.
  • Hotel accommodation during the Washington, D.C., segment.
  • Public transportation to the host company.
  • Local transportation to group events in the program cities.

Eligibility:                                      To qualify for TechWomen, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have at least two years of full-time professional experience in a STEM field at the time of application. Internships and unpaid work do not count toward this requirement.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent four-year university degree).
  • Be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Be a citizen and permanent resident of one of the following countries: Albania, Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yemen, or Zimbabwe.
  • Be eligible for a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa.
  • Have not applied for a U.S. immigrant visa (except for the Diversity Visa) in the past five years.
  • Not hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Preference is given to applicants who:

  • Live and work in a TechWomen program country during the application period and program participation. Special consideration is given to those experiencing displacement.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential through professional, volunteer, or community activities.
  • Commit to returning to their home country to share knowledge and mentor women and youth.
  • Have limited or no prior experience in the United States.
  • Exhibit a track record of community service, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to innovation.
  • Show a willingness to embrace exchange programs, mentorship, and partnership opportunities with confidence and maturity.

Selection Process:

                Applications are reviewed by independent selection committees, comprising industry leaders and regional experts. Semifinalists may also be interviewed by U.S. Embassy personnel in their country of residence.

Description:

Hans Bockler Foundation International Scholarships 2025 (Fully Funded) are open for International Students. Hans Böckler Foundation offers prestigious international scholarships for PhD students, providing exceptional opportunities to study in Germany. These scholarships are tailored to doctoral candidates from diverse disciplines, with a particular focus on applicants from the global south.

Level: PhD

Benefits: The foundation offers two key scholarships for international PhD students:

1. Dieter Schumacher International PhD-Scholarship

· Monthly stipend: €1550 for living expenses.

· Annual allowance: €1400 for travel expenses.

2. Ute and György Széll International PhD-Scholarship

· Monthly stipend: €1450 for living expenses.

· Annual allowance: €1300 for travel expenses.

Eligibility Criteria: This scholarship is open to students of all nationalities.

1. Dieter Schumacher International PhD-Scholarship

This scholarship supports outstanding PhD students in Economics. It funds a 12-24 month stay at a German university or research institute, encouraging research in fields such as:

· Fiscal and Monetary policy

· Labor markets

· Income distribution

· Financial markets

· Doctoral candidates under the age of 30.

2. Ute and György Széll International PhD-Scholarship This scholarship caters to PhD students in Social Sciences and Humanities. It allows a 6-month stay at a German university, foundation, or archive.

· No age limit for applicants.

Requirements for Application

For both scholarships, candidates must demonstrate academic excellence, social engagement, and alignment with the Hans Böckler Foundation's values. Key requirements include:

A detailed research project description (3 pages).

A research paper outlining the topic, methodology, and objectives of the project.

Invitation letter from a German host supervisor.

Recommendation from your current PhD supervisor.

Description:

Ghent University Doctoral Scholarships 2025 in Belgium is an excellent opportunity for students to pursue their academic careers abroad. Description:

RIPS Summer Internship Program 2025 in the United States is an excellent chance for talented students and recent graduates seeking to pursue their careers in mathematics, computer sciences, and relevant fields abroad. This international internship in the USA provides students an opportunity to work in teams through engagement in real-world projects, which were directly proposed by the sponsors of industrial giants or public sector organizations. The students conduct the research and analyze the research problem under the mentorship of their academic supervisors and industrial mentors. With the guidance of these mentors, students reach the finalized optimal results which involve mathematical and computing approaches. In times of darkness, such opportunities prove to be a landmark for those intellectual scholars who are ready to give their part in bringing developments across the world.

Course Level: Internship

Grants: Students will get a stipend of US$4,000.

· Housing facility allowance at the UCLA campus will be provided.

· Meals will be provided.

· A traveling allowance is provided.
