Research in universities is one of the major functions of the faculty members. In order to facilitate this research, various grants are available from HEC, PSF, National ICT R&D Fund and other agencies for the researchers. As an additional resource, CUI Research Grant Program (CRGP) was initiated to provide research grants up to the sum of Rs. 300,000 for each research proposals of one year duration. All faculty members of CUI are eligible for funding under CRGP.

A-DURATION

A research grant is provided for a period of one year.

B-FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Each research proposal under this program is considered for a maximum amount of Rs. 300,000/-.

C-ENTITLEMENT

The principal applicants are allowed to purchase consumables and small equipments only. Purchase of Laptops/Personal Computers/Servers, Printers/Scanner etc. are not allowed.

D-TRAVEL

Travel within the country is allowed, for project related activities.

E-NAME OF JOURNALS

All the applicants are required to provide the name of journals in which the research paper is expected to be published.

F-UNDERTAKING

A duly endorsed undertaking by the applicant, to the effect that he/she will submit final report along with audited statement of accounts of the expenditure incurred and he/she will not resign from his job or go for post-doctoral or other extended studies without completion of the project.
