Dr. Muhammad Shakil Ahmad from Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS IIT, Attock won Young Scholar Award for 4th Annual International Young Scholars Workshop in Public Policy and Administration Research hosted and sponsored by Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) from August 9-14, 2015 in Mexico City, Mexico. International Office facilitated the faculty member with the travel grant. Young Scholars from ten different countries (Canada, Georgia, Italy, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey, United Kingdom, and USA) participated in workshop. It was unique experience of interaction between young and senior scholars. During the workshop, each Young Scholar presented their work twice and received feedback from senior scholars on potential areas of improvement. Using feedback from their coaches, mentor, and fellow participants, the Young Scholars improved their papers through an iterative process of oral presentations, culminating in the presentation of final versions during the closing showcase.
