Short Course Communication Skills

Short Course in Communication Skills has been started by Department of Humanities which includes the following different parts:

  • Multiple focus exercises (MFE),
  • Spawn Saga (SS) training,
  • Reciprocated Discussions,
  • Listening Drills,
  • Talk Shows, Structural Competency Exercises (SCE),
  • Correction During Speech (CDS)

French language Course for Beginners

The primary aim of the course is to ensure that the students discover French cultural and social specificities as well as achieve Beginner level (A1) ofCommon European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF), which is the internationally used European guideline for describing the level of fluency achieved by a foreign language learner.

This French course focuses on the five essential language learning skills:

  • Listening
  • Speaking
  • Oral interaction
  • Writing
  • Reading comprehension

Learning objectives

  • Greeting people, polite requests
  • Talking about nationalities and professions
  • Introducing oneself, one’s family and others
  • Fill a form
  • Asking and answering simple questions
  • Expressing one’s likes and dislikes
  • Describing people, things and one’s city
  • Talking about one’s daily routine including days and hours
  • Describing the weather
  • Asking prices and buying
  • Asking directions/more questions
  • Making future plans
