One day CPD seminar "Geopolymer Concrete; Concrete for Next Millennium" was organized by the Civil Engineering Department on November 05, 2019. The seminar was delivered by guest speaker, Dr. Muhammad Zahid a Post-Doctoral researcher at University Technology PETRONAS, Malaysia. The seminar covered the key features of Geopolymer Concrete and its current use around the globe, properties of Geoplymer and process of Geopolymerization. The speaker shared the findings from his research including the influence of various parameters on performance of geopolymer concrete. The undergraduate and graduate students of Civil Engineering actively participated in the seminar. The seminar ended with a vote of thanks by Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad and Campus souvenir was presented to the guest speaker.
