Centre for Climate Research and Development (CCRD) in collaboration with Muslim Hands Pakistan and students of department of Economics at CUI organized a one-day event titled 'Sharing Table-Advocacy for Local Smart Climate Actions' on Thursday 5 January 2023 at COMSATS University Islamabad.
During one day event different activities were performed that included, Poster Competition, Essay writing, Sharing Table, Photography etc. Students actively participated and winners received certificates.
‘Sharing Table’ is an idea to put a dent into the consumption pattern of the people. Through this activity we targeted the youth to develop an understanding in them about the environmental cost of production and unsustainable consumption. The aim was to create a community that is environmentally aware, socially cognizant and conscious of their spending habits and their impacts on the society at larger.
