On behalf of Department of Art and Design (DoAD), we proudly present thesis show of our 10th Batch and extend my heartiest wishes to the graduating students who have successfully produced excellent quality work. We are all looking forward to thesis show this year as after two and a half years students are going to present their thesis on campus and are as excited as we are. Alhamdulillah we have left the COVID in the past and resumed regular activities at university.

At DoAD our students are taught by highly qualified and sound professionals on how to deeply and critically observe the social, political, societal and historic eras and come up with brilliant ideas to be highlighted through their thesis. Students are given open choice for selection of topic of their thesis. Thesis topic selection range is extensive which presents an overall background of the Department of Art and Design (DoAD) teaching philosophy. DoAD tries it best in providing students with quality art education and is giving them a clear direction in terms of design thinking which has led to motivate the students to focus upon design and presentation skills.

The thesis show is covering socio political issues, early communication and providing better quality to life solution and stress related has been addressed through our design students. This year students are presenting their thesis projects ranging from visual communication design, illustrations, game design, graphic novel, and animation projects. As we all know Visual communication design, game design is requirement of the modern world. Bachelors in Design thesis is the conclusion of four years of study which focuses on extensive research and practice in the fields of Visual Arts and Design.

The purpose of the design thesis is to help students deepen their understanding of various issues of society and to further engage with communities and produce relevant design solutions. Our graduates are creative individuals who tell our stories and express the truths of our society; they are ready to face the new challenges of a rapidly changing and diverse world and to contribute actively to solving them.

I congratulate the graduates of 2022 and wish them best of luck for their future endeavors and I am sure they will contribute to the society through contemporary ways and optimistic approach. I am thankful to my HoD, Amna Hashmi, colleagues, thesis coordinator and supervising faculty for guiding the students throughout brilliantly.
