U.S. University Mini Educational Fair at COMSATS University Islamabad
A U.S. university educational fair was organized by COMSATS University Islamabad in collaboration with the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The event took place from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Video Conferencing Room (Library Basement) at the Junaid Zaidi Library, Islamabad Campus.
The primary objective of this session was to provide guidance and orientation to students, faculty, and staff members interested in pursuing Undergraduate and Graduate programs in the United States. Graduate admissions officers from the following U.S. universities participated in the session:
- University of Bridgeport
- Webster University
- Concordia University Chicago
- Southern Methodist University
- Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)
- Indiana University Indianapolis
- Oklahoma City University
- George Washington University
- Montclair State University
A significant number of attendees participated in the session, engaging actively with the representatives by asking insightful questions about the application process, funding opportunities, and available academic programs. The admissions officers provided guidance on the admission requirements and various financial aid options. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to discuss their individual cases, and study plans in one-on-one interactions with the university representatives.
The attendees highly appreciated the information and insights shared during the session. The event successfully facilitated direct engagement between students and university officials, helping them make informed decisions about their higher education prospects in the United States.
This session was organized by the Directorate of Planning, Development, and Human Resource Development at COMSATS University Islamabad.
