These opportunities are specifically for postgraduate students and offer substantial financial support to help them pursue world-class education in the UK. Therefore, requested to pass this information on to the students who may be eligible or have already applied/received offers from the University of Manchester.

• £10,000 award for students from Pakistan holding an offer for any taught master’s course at the University of Manchester.
• Application deadline: 24 April 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by 30 May 2025.
Manchester Humanities International Excellence Scholarship (Faculty of Humanities)

• Offers a tuition fee reduction of £2,500 or £5,000 (depending on the course) for students from selected countries, including Pakistan.
• No separate application needed; eligible applicants will receive confirmation once they meet their academic offer conditions.
• Awards will be notified in June 2025. These can be combined with other internal scholarships.
Global Development Institute Master’s Bursary (Faculty of Humanities – Global Development Institute)

• Ten £10,000 awards for self-sponsored international students pursuing Global Development Institute master’s courses.
• Automatically considered for all eligible applicants holding an offer.
The Catherine Chisolm International Scholarship (Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health)

• £10,000 tuition fee reduction for students in selected master’s courses within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine, and Health.
• Application deadline: 18 April 2025. Successful candidates will be informed by 16 May 2025.
Global Futures Scholarships

• £8,000 merit-based scholarships for South Asian students, including those from Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka.
• Available to students who have applied and received an offer from the University of Manchester.
