The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) is a federal autonomous institution established under the law to promote competition in the economy and protect consumers from anti-competitive practices. Apart from taking enforcement actions against anti-competitive practices, the CCP is also empowered to create awareness and understanding of the Competition Law to perpetuate a culture of competition in the country.

The CCP has launched an awareness campaign, ‘Competition Advocacy Academia Drive’, across Pakistan and will be holding seminars in the leading universities. As part of this awareness Drive, a two-hour long seminar will be held in our campus on ……….. which will be attended by the faculty members and students of law, economics, and management sciences.

The seminar will include interesting animations, presentations and interactive sessions to enlighten the participants on the role of CCP in promoting competition in the economy.

Moreover, the CCP has also introduced a 16-week Module on “Economics and Competition Law” in Collaboration with the King’s College London. During the seminar, the CCP team will brief us about the module.
