The Department of Management Sciences (DMS) strives to contribute to the broader social role of CUI in providing high quality academic programs characterized by cutting edge technologies and modern managerial practices.
The Department of Management Sciences in Islamabad has emerged as the most dynamic and vibrant department across all CUI campuses. The department of management sciences has opted for an innovative approach of imparting outcome-based business education with a close liaison of academia and industry. Its current enrollment is among the highest in CUI. At present, the Department of Management Sciences has around 2130 students enrolled and there are over 80 full-time Faculty members.
Department of Management Science offers variety of graduate and undergraduate programs such as BS (Business Administration), BS(Accounting and Finance), BS(Business Data Analytics), BS (Audit and Taxation), and at graduate level such as MS (Management Sciences), MS (Project Management), MBA and PhD with various specializations. Our pioneering academic programs cover key business and management disciplines such as human resource management, marketing, accounting, finance, banking, business economics, project management, information management, supply chain management, business analytics and audit and taxation.
Our business curricula are comparable in standard to those which are being applied in reputable Pakistani and foreign universities. The curriculum allows students to have exposure by creating their unique expertise in their preferred functional area(s). Our multidimensional environment helps the students to become future leaders in different fields.
The research environment at DMS distinguishes it from other educational institutes. The breadth of our research and the connections between disciplines drive advancement in knowledge, understanding, innovation and creativity. These initiatives of DMS have resulted in CUI being ranked 451-500 in social sciences and management in 2022 according to QS World University rankings. CUI is also ranked 251-300 in Times Higher Education in business and economics.
