CIIT Sahiwal campus’ delegation paid a technical visit to KICS (Al-Khawarazmi Institute of Computer Science) and HUTIC UET Lahore on 28th February 2017. The delegation comprised of 39 students and 3 faculty members. The ceremony started off with recitation of Holy Quran followed by a welcome note presented by Mr. Kashif Bashir, HUTIC Manager UET Lahore and Chair IEEE COMSOC Lahore section. KICS’ activities video was played there for the audience. A presentation on Research Development at KICS was also presented to the delegation by Mr. Kashif Bashir. The delegation was revealed the training opportunities happening at KICS.

A comprehensive session on the topics of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G was presented by HUTIC UET Lahore’s official Mr. Tayyab. IEEE COMSOC International books were distributed among the students who excelled in their fields.

A presentation on Internet of Things and its future opportunities was delivered by Ms. Maham. Mr. Fahmeed Akram and Mr. Zubair from HUTIC UET Lahore delivered a presentation on Huawei networking courses and revealed the delegation about the certifications.

The ceremony concluded with certificates’ distribution. Mr. Kashif Bashir presented a certificate to Mr. Tariq (Associate Professor) from CIIT Sahiwal. A souvenir from CIIT Sahiwal Campus was presented to KICS Director Dr. Waqar Mahmood, Mr. Kashif Bashir and KICS team. During the ceremony, the delegation was made to visit the HUTIC Lab led by Mr. Fawad and Mr. Tayyab.
