Mr. Safdar Ali, one of the Alumni of COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus has been presented Appreciation Award by the Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan during an International Awards Ceremony arranged by the New York Chamber of Small Business Corporation (USA) at Governor's House, Lahore on February 24, 2025.

The event was attended by leading entrepreneurs, senior educationists, community representatives, media officials and a large number of overseas Pakistanis who came from KSA, UAE, Canada and United States of America.

The Governor Punjab appreciated the efforts of Syed Alamdar Hussain Shah, Founder of New York Chamber of Small Business Corporation for bringing a large number of overseas Pakistanis under one platform. He congratulated all the recipients of the Awards. He extended his full support in promoting inter-faith harmony and strengthening small business enterprises.

Currently, Mr. Safdar Ali is working as Manager, Office of  Alumni Relation and Career Development at CUI, Lahore Campus.

To celebrate this achievement, a congratulatory event followed by the lunch was arranged in Faculty Cafeteria on Friday, February 28, 2025. The event was attended by a large number of senior faculty members, officers and staff members to foster connection, celebrate the accolade, and encourage a culture of recognition and motivation.
