The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program 2025 is now open for applications, providing a golden opportunity for exceptional students from around the world to pursue their higher education in France. Sponsored by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and managed by Campus France, this program aims to attract top international students to French universities at both the Master's and PhD levels.

Course Level: Masters/PhD Degree

Host Institution(s): French Universities and Academic Institutions

Subjects: Master’s degree program, engineering program, or a joint doctoral program (joint supervision of dissertation and/or dual degree), in partnership with a partner institution abroad. Two major disciplinary fields concerned by the Eiffel scholarships cover the following 7 fields of study for the Master and Doctorate components:

· For science and technology: Biology and health; Ecological transition; Mathematics and digital; Engineering Sciences

· For the humanities and social sciences: History, French language and civilization; Law and political science; and Economics and management

Grants:

· Monthly Stipend: €1,181 for Master's students and €1,800 for Doctoral students.

· Accommodation Assistance: Help in finding suitable housing in France.

· Round-trip Airfare: A covered round-trip ticket from the student’s home country to France.

· Local Transportation: Financial aid for travel within France, including transport to and from the university.

· Health Insurance: Coverage for medical expenses during the stay in France.

· Cultural Activities: Access to a range of cultural experiences to immerse students in French culture.

· Networking Opportunities: Engage with a global network of scholars, professionals, and leaders.

These benefits not only cover the financial aspects of studying abroad but also ensure that students have a fulfilling experience both academically and culturally.

Eligibility:

· Open to International Students: Applicants from all countries outside France are eligible.

· Age Requirements: For Master's level: Applicants must be 25 years or younger at the time of the application.

· For PhD level: Applicants must be 30 years or younger at the time of the application.

· No Previous Eiffel Scholarship at the Same Level: Candidates who have previously received an Eiffel Scholarship for the same academic level are not eligible.

· University Application: The scholarship application must be submitted through a French university, as individual applications are not accepted.

· Choose a French University: Begin by selecting a French university that offers an accredited Master's or PhD program in your field of interest.

· Contact the International Office: Reach out to the university’s International Office to express your interest in the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship and discuss the application process.

· University Submits Your Application: Only French universities can submit applications to Campus France on behalf of students. Make sure the university is aware of your intention to apply.

· Upload Required Documents: Prepare and submit the necessary documents, including academic transcripts, a CV, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and proof of eligibility.

· Complete Your Application: Once the documents are prepared, complete the application process through the university.

· Meet Selection Criteria: Selection is based on academic excellence, research potential, and leadership qualities, with preference given to students from emerging countries at the Master’s level, and from both emerging and industrialized countries at the PhD level.

· Focus on Academic Excellence: Highlight your academic achievements, research projects, and any relevant work experience.
