The event featured a well-organized building evacuation and fire drill, actively engaging faculty, staff, and students alike. The safety drill not only served as a practical exercise for individuals to practice swift and orderly evacuation but also provided an opportunity for the EHS Committee to evaluate and refine existing safety protocols. By involving all stakeholders, the initiative aimed to foster a culture of safety consciousness within the department, ensuring that everyone remains well-equipped to respond effectively to unforeseen emergencies. The successful execution of such drills contributes significantly to the overall safety and well-being of the academic community, underscoring the commitment of the Department of Mechanical Engineering to prioritize the health and safety of its members.
