The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) in collaboration with ASME CUI Wah arranged the first CPD activity of semester Fall 2021 duly approved by Pakistan Engineering Council titled “Aesthetics and Ergonomic in Design” on November 3, 2021. Engr. Fowad Iqbal from SADA National University of Science & Technology (NUST) was the guest speaker who attained BS in Mechanical Engineering from GIK Institute and MS in Industrial Design from Sweden, followed by excellent professional experience of product design for IKEA, ITAB, CombiQ, Volvo, EFG Furnitures and VASTANHEM Sweden Limited. He enlightened students with his knowledge, experience and also briefed students about the importance of Aesthetics and Ergonomics in industrial designing as this is a vital approach for design engineers. Faculty and students from DME thanked the guest speaker and HoD Mechanical Engineering for arranging such an interactive and applied session. Campus Director, Prof. Muhammad Abid, T.I., presented souvenir to the guest speaker.
