The discussion/presentation of institutional cooperation between the two organizations UNESCO and UNESCO Water Chair on (IWRM) COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus was held on March 10, 2020 organized by the COMSATS University Islamabad, Directorate of Planning, Development and Human Resource Development (PD&HRD) and International Office (IO).

A delegation of UNESCO comprising Director, Regional Science Bureau for Asia and the Pacific at UNESCO, Dr. Shahbaz Khan, Director UNESCO office Islamabad, Ms.Patricia McPhillips, National Professional Officer UNESCO Islamabad, Syed Muhammad Raza Shah visited COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. On behalf of Water Chair the Dean Faculty of Engineering, Dr. M. Abid presented progress, plan of activities of UNESCO Chair on Knowledge Systems for Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) established at CUI Wah Campus its future programs and goals.

The Rector CUI, Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar (T.I), Director Campus, CUI Wah Campus, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Madani, Assistant Professor, Dr. Adnan Nawaz, Lecturer, Engr. Summera Fahmi and Engr. Mohsin Shabbir participated in discussion of institutional role, future activities as part and practices.
