Foreign Faculty Cell promotes educational and intercultural participation and creates awareness by providing leadership with regard to internationalization efforts of CIIT, its major aim is to serve and support the International scholars conducting research or teaching on campus (and the departments who wish to hire these scholars) and also the faculty members from Prestigious and world renowned Institutions who wish to visit CIIT.
Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan
Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has initiated the following programs in order to cope with the acute shortage of qualified PhD supervisors.
The objectives / benefits of these programs are:
- Curriculum Development as per international standards
- Enhance Research Environment & Develop Collaborative / Professional Linkage
- Graduate teaching and collaborative research
- Conducting workshops, seminars and other thematic informal teaching
- Explore / Develop joint research grant projects for local / International funding
- To assist in establishing laboratories in new and emerging disciplines
- Short / long courses in such discipline where local expertise are not available
- Establish collaboration for research publications.
