The ILC Committee (CS Department) recently visited HKS TechLabs to foster industry-academia collaboration.

1. Discussed MoU signing between HKS TechLab and COMSATS University Vehari Campus (CS Department)

2. Bridging the academia-industry gap
3. Exploring emerging technologies like bubble.io
4. Strategies for student engagement in cutting-edge tech
5. Mr. Hussain, CEO of HKS TechLab, and co-founder Mr. Umair expressed their views on the prevailing gap between academia and industry. They emphasized the importance of practical exposure for students and assured full support to the university wherever required to strengthen this collaboration.

Pakistan Financial Literacy Week 2025-State Bank of Pakistan Multan

The State Bank of Pakistan is currently celebrating Pakistan Financial Literacy Week (PFLW) 2025 from April 14 to April 18, 2025, with the aim of promoting financial awareness and literacy through various interactive and educational activities.

We are pleased to announce that Miss Zainab Naveed, a student of COMSATS University, Vehari Campus, has achieved the distinction of having her logo design shortlisted among the top three entries at the regional level in the PFLW 2025 Logo Designing Competition.

In recognition of her creative contribution and commendable effort, Miss Zainab Naveed will be presented with a shield at an award ceremony to be held as per the following details:

One-day tent-pegging championship at CUI Attock

One-day tent-pegging championship was held as part of the ongoing JASHN E BAHARAN Spring 2023 semester at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) Attock Campus on Tuesday 7th March 2023, in which 100 horse riders of the tent pegging clubs from all over the country took part.
The audience including faculty, staff and students crowded the venue to see the championship. They saw the eye-catching show by horse riders waving their spears to pick the wooden peg amid clouds of dust rising from the ground.
The riders on galloping high speed horses holding spears high and then bending down to pick the pegs was a main source of attraction for the spectators
At the end of the event, the souvenirs were distributed among the position holders by the Director CUI Attock Campus as a token of appreciation.
