A total of 617 graduates were awarded degrees at the Fall 2025 Convocation of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Sahiwal Campus, held with great enthusiasm. Among them, 40 students received medals for outstanding academic performance, including 14 male and 26 female medalists. Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar (T.I.), Rector, COMSATS University Islamabad, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Congratulating the graduates and their families, he emphasized that education is a national trust and urged the youth to contribute positively to Pakistan’s progress. “Now it is your time to pay back to your parents, your institution, and your country,” he said, while appreciating the achievements of CUI Sahiwal Campus in promoting quality education and research. Presenting the Campus Report, the Director CUI Sahiwal Campus shared that the campus, established in 2006, currently has 3,808 students enrolled in 23-degree programs and has produced 8,654 graduates so far. Recent developments include the completion of Academic Block-D worth Rs. 165 million, expansion of transport and IT facilities, and the initiation of four PhD programs. Upcoming projects include a Girls’ Hostel, Sports Complex, and Central Library. Nearly 30% of students are enrolled under various scholarships, amounting to Rs. 140 million in 2024–25 and projected to reach Rs. 170 million in 2025–26. The campus also organized over 45 seminars and workshops, and strengthened industry linkages for internships and employment. The Rector lauded the faculty, administration, and students for their contributions and congratulated the graduates on their success, expressing hope that they will serve the nation with dedication and integrity.
