Today, COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus warmly welcomed its new batch of students in a vibrant and inspiring Orientation Session for Fall 2025. 

The session was graced by the honorable Director, Prof. Dr. Najeeb Ur Rehman, along with respected faculty and staff members, who guided the freshers about the academic journey, campus facilities, and opportunities awaiting them at COMSATS. 

Parents and students were appreciated for putting their trust in COMSATS Sahiwal Campus, a place committed to delivering quality education, research excellence, and holistic student development.

With inspiring words, the Director highlighted that our Alumni’s are excelling on international platforms, which is a testament to COMSATS’ dedication towards shaping a bright and successful future for its students.

Orientation Fall 2025 – COMSATS University Islamabad, Islamabad Campus 

The Orientation Ceremony for Fall 2025 was a memorable start for our new students at CUI Islamabad Campus. The Campus Incharge welcomed students with inspiring words on academic excellence and personal growth, setting the tone for their journey ahead.

Students and parents were introduced to respective departments, where faculty members guided them about academic programs, facilities, and university life. The event also featured engaging interactions between students, teachers, and parents — highlighting the strong support system at COMSATS.

The day concluded with refreshments and networking, leaving everyone with a sense of excitement and belonging.

Orientation for New Intake Spring 2025

Student Affairs Office conducted an orientation session for newly admitted students of Spring 20025 batch. Students were welcomed and briefed about rules and regulations, academic policies, fee structure e.t.c. Incharge Student Affairs, HoDs and Director Campus had an interactive talk with new students. 

Later on students refreshments were served and students were taken for departmental tour by their respective batch advisors.

On September 1, 2024, the Department of Economics Comsats conducted an orientation for new students enrolling in the BS programs in Economics and Economics with Data Science. The session aimed to provide students with an overview of their respective programs, introduce key faculty members, and outline essential resources and administrative details.

The orientation began with an introduction to the Economics and Economics with Data Science programs. Students were briefed on the core curriculum for each program, with Economics focusing on foundational courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. In contrast, Economics with Data Science highlighted the integration of data analysis, statistical methods, and computational tools with economic theory.

Faculty members were introduced, including their research areas and contact details. Professors emphasized their availability for student engagement and encouraged participation in research and academic discussions. Students received information on academic resources, including tutoring services, library access, and the course management system. Guidance was provided on how to navigate these resources effectively to support their studies.

The session also covered opportunities for involvement in student organizations related to Economics and Data Science. Upcoming events and workshops were mentioned as key opportunities for professional development and networking. Administrative essentials, such as course registration procedures, important deadlines, and academic policies, were reviewed. Students were advised on staying organized and managing their academic responsibilities proactively.

The orientation concluded with a Q&A session, allowing students to address specific questions and concerns about their programs and the academic environment. Overall, the orientation aimed to equip students with the necessary information and support to begin their studies confidently and successfully. Students were encouraged to stay engaged with faculty, utilize available resources, and actively participate in the academic community.
