The Department of Mechanical Engineering, CUI Wah Campus, organized an industrial visit to Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) for second-semester students on March 24, 2025, under the supervision of faculty members. HIT, a leading center for advanced defense and engineering, provided students with a hands-on learning experience. The visit began with a briefing session on HIT’s role in engineering and technology, followed by interactions with industry professionals and experts. Students also explored the state-of-the-art display center, research facilities, and workshops for practical exposure.

This visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications in the defense and manufacturing sectors. By engaging with industry experts and observing cutting-edge technologies firsthand, students gained valuable insights that complement their coursework.
