About 6 months ago, Awais Ur Rehman, Bilal Khan, and Syed Haadi Raza got shortlisted as one of the 6 teams all over Pakistan in a generative AI competition sponsored by Securiti Pakistan happening at +92Disrupt Conference organized by Katalyst Labs in Karachi.

On 14th December 2024, Team OculaCare presented their product to an audience of 800-1000 people that consisted of the Tech Moguls, investors, Founders/CEOs, and all the big names of Pakistan namely Jehan Ara (CEO Katalyst), Asad J Malik (CEO Jadu), Rehan Jalil (CEO Securiti Pakistan), Faisal Aftab (CEO Zayn VC), Rabeel Warraich (CEO Sarmayacar), and more.

Team OculaCare extends a heartfelt thanks to COMSATS University Islamabad, especially Dr. Professor Sohail Asghar (PhD) for sponsoring our travel whom they promised that they wouldn't be returning empty-handed. Not only Team OculaCare was the runner-up and got 1 million PKR for the product, but also received 100k PKR for the best presentation along with multiple leads for angel investments, Incubation offers, diverse clientele, and multiple Job placements.

Comsats University Islamabad has always supported the student body not only financially, but have provided resources to make them the best of the best. A special thanks to the supervisors for guiding the students along the way.
This achievements once again highlights the fact that Comsats University Islamabad is an institution that is redefining the potential of the youth of Pakistan with every step until now and intends to do this in the future as well.
