The COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) in association with EdPrograms organized a Mini Educational Fair at COMSATS University Islamabad, (CUI), Islamabad Campus on February 19, 2024 from 10:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The event is part of seminar series, organized under the program “Information Seminars for Higher Studies Abroad” with the objective to educate and orient CUI prospective candidates with respect to seeking admissions and scholarship opportunities for higher studies abroad.

The purpose of the Educational Fair was to provide an opportunity for CUI staff/students to discuss the admission process, assistantships, funding opportunities, fee structure, facilities, etc., with the Graduate Admissions officers of the participating institutions. Two US Universities, namely University of Tampa and the Northern Illinois University, took part in the fair.

The event commenced with the recitation of the Glorious Quran, followed by a brief discussion of EdPrograms and their offerings. Next, representatives from the participating universities provided a summary of the graduate programs offered. Thereafter, a general Q&A session about the admissions process and application deadlines took place. Following that, participants were directed to designated tables where they had one-on-one conversations with admissions officers from these universities.

A good number of participants from COMSATS University Islamabad attended the event. The event was organized by the Directorate of Planning, Development and Human Resource Development.
