In continuation to its policy of engaging students in community service and social
welfare , a clean-up drive was organized by Electrical & Computer Engineering
(E&CE) Department of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Islamabad in
collaboration with the Development Communications Network (Devcom-Pakistan)
and Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) on December 2, 2023, at Trail-5 Margalla Hills Islamabad. The objective of the event was to create awareness among young people about the eco-system, flora & fauna of Pakistan, clean & green environment, and impacts of climate change on Pakistan. An overwhelming majority of students from E&CE department voluntarily participated in the cleanup drive of Trail-5, showing a deep sense of social responsibility and dedication to the betterment of society.
