Report on “VehariCultural Fiesta 2015 and MehfilezikareMustfa

The COMSATS Institute of Information technology, Vehari has emerged as a leading institution of the area in a very short time. The management sciences  department at CIIT Vehari focuses not only on imparting the managerial knowledge but the right attitude and skills to the student through seminars, conferences, workshops , training and meeting at various forums. Such programs motivate students to become lifelong learners and improve students’ self-esteem and confidence to become productive citizen and leaders.

Veharian Cultural Fiesta 2015:

The society and culture of Pakistan  comprises numerous ethnic groups: the Punjabis, Kashmiris, Sindhis in east, Muhajirs, Makrani in the south; Baloch, Hazaras and Pashtun in the west; and the ancient Dardic, Wakhi,Baltistani and Burusho communities in the north. The culture of these Pakistani ethnic groups have been greatly influenced by many of its neighbors, such as the other South Asians, Turkic peoples as well as the peoples of Central Asia and the Middle East.

CIIT Veharicelebrates the cultural day on 21 December-2015. Facilitation committee of department of management sciences arranged the event. Groups of different students represent different themes of Pakistani culture including Punjabi,sindhi, balochi, chakwali, etc. students also represent different cultures through their specialty in food and places.

Director campus Dr. KhairUzZaman, HOD MS Dr. AsadAfzalHumayon, MPA Ma,amShumilaAslam and all other HOD’s were present there with faculty members.Dr. AsadAfzalhumayon, Mr. Ali Iftikhar and Mr. affanuddinAhmed MrhasnainSafdar Butt Mrhasseeb Ahmad  Ma’am Shanza Ma’am H sobiatufailtook keen interest in organizing and making this event successful. 

MehfelZikre Mustafa:

EidMiladul-Nabi (Mawlid, Milad-un-Nabi) celebrates the Prophet Muhammad's life. It falls on the 12th or 17th day of the Islamic month of Rabi' al-awwal. Some Muslims in the United States mark this occasion by fasting or holding communal meals, special prayers or outdoor celebrations.
