Master of Science in Economics MS(ECO)

Master of Science in Economics Program at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Vehari Campus provides options to the students to build their knowledge in different fields of economics. This program intends to prepare the students to understand and apply the theoretical concepts of economics. After completion of the degree program, they will be able to serve the society towards identifying social, economic, and environmental issues, and providing insights for their solution.

As the country is going to passing through new avenues of growth and development due to changing frontiers of the region (due to the construction of CPEC), the program is designed to meet the growing demand of young economists in the country in general and Southern Punjab in particular.

Eligibility Criteria

16 years degree in business administration, administrative sciences, public administration, or relevant discipline from an accredited educational institution with first division (annual system) or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (semester system)

No third division or D grade throughout the academic career

NTS (GAT General test) with 50% marks

Duration

Minimum: 2 years.

Maximum: 4 years.
