The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering conducted an industrial visit for the students of 5th and 7th semester (Power Section and Electronics Section respectively) to the High Voltage and Short Circuit Lab, located in Rawat, Pakistan. A total of 62 students visited the lab under the supervision of Mr. Engr. Belawal Behram and Engr. Abdullah Shoukat. The students were given a briefing on the model of the lab by the Assistant Manager (Engr. Shakeel) in the lab. Different testing voltage levels were also briefed for different power equipment for lightning test and switching test. The students were informed and guided regarding the various tests performed in the lab. The student observed the real-time testing of the different distribution transformers as well as cables.
