The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering arranged an Industrial Visit for the 5th Semester students to Pakistan Locomotive Factory, Risalpur on December 17, 2019. The students were accompanied by the Faculty Member Engr. Belawal Behram and Engr Sadiq Ahmed. The students were shown and given a briefing on the Electrical and Mechanical Section of the Factory. They were demonstrated welding and soldering procedures involved in manufacturing of the locomotives. They also visited the switchyard of the factory where briefed on power transformers, current transformers, potential transformers, isolators, circuit breakers and earth switches etc. Students have learnt a lot and found a trip very knowledgeable and purpose full.
