The IEEE COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) Wah Campus Student Branch organized “IEEE Islamabad Section Leadership Summit 2019” on October 5, 2019. The Summit aimed was to provide platform to students for developing their Leadership, Innovation and Professional skills.  Different events were conducted i.e Seminars, Trainings and Hands-on practical activities. The Career Counseling & Volunteer Trainings was main theme of the event. Various universities of IEEE Islamabad Region participated in the event. The event was organized by Dr. Nadia Nawaz, IEEE CUI, Wah Chapter Branch Counselor and Dr. Mudassar Raza, IEEE CS Wah Chapter Counselor and their teams of IEEE.

This year IEEE Islamabad Section Leadership Summit 2019 encompasses more enhanced leadership-oriented activities i.e:

• Seminar on “Personality Development” presented by Dr. Afshan Naseem from National University of Sciences and Technology 
• Seminar on “Cyber Harassment” delivered by Ms. Sumera Saleem from Riphah International University
• OU Analytics / Vtools training by SAC
• Philanthropic and Humanitarian Opportunities by SIGHT
• Volunteer on Leadership Training by YP
• Activity by WiE
• Branch Chairs Meeting
• Group Activity by SAC + YP + SIGHT + WiE

Dr. Muhammad Zubair, Student Activity Committee (SAC) Chair, IEEE Islamabad Section was graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Dr. Nadia Nawaz, IEEE CUI, Wah Chapter Branch Counselor concluded the summit with vote of thanks.
