The Department of Computer Science conducted a seminar on “Data Science Scope and Opportunities" on March 4, 2020 by the guest speaker, Mr. Faisal Nazir, Founder, CEO & Lead Data Scientist, Sqrt Labs, Wah Cantt. The speaker introduced the software products being developed at Sqrt Labs. The importance of data science and the scope was discussed generally and in Pakistan specifically. The speaker also shared his startup journey with the students and encouraged them to make startups instead of finding jobs. Opportunities were also discussed in the field of data science. At the end the CUI Wah Campus souvenir was presented to the guest speaker with vote of thanks.
