Program Overview
There has been a dramatic progress in the rise of artificial intelligence and its use in the development of systems that can reason and respond to increasingly complex situations during the past 5-10 years. Quite simply, AI is everywhere and the change brought about by these technologies has just begun. As AI moves from idea to implementation, it is clear that future intelligent systems will be designed to partner with human users. This growth in artificial intelligence technology is leading to an increasing demand for individuals who can create AI systems embedded in practical settings that function alongside and in conjunction with human beings.
The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence program aims to serve this demand by producing students who have exceptional technical skills and also understand the nature of the human environments in which the systems they build will be deployed. The program aims at educating and training students in all aspects of how the emerging technologies of machine intelligence can be designed and deployed to interact and integrate with human partners. It aims at strengthening the understanding and competence of students in artificial intelligence fundamentals. The MS (Artificial Intelligence) graduates of CUI are equipped with the necessary knowhow to pursue careers as Al experts in either academia or industry.
Entry Requirements
- The candidates for MS(AI) have to qualify GAT test conducted by NTS.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 16 years’ degree with min. 2.5 CGPA in Computer Science or relevant fields with no third division or D grade throughout academic career. However, in case deficiency in core computational knowledge and skills, the student may be advised by the department to take some noncredit courses.
