Fellow Responsibilities:

Each selected fellow is expected to:

  • Acknowledge the fellowship’s support in all related publications.

Eligible Nationalities:

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants for the TU Dresden Distinguished Research Fellowship 2026 must meet the following criteria:

Academic Status:

  • Open to international scholars at the professor level, including professors, associate professors, and outstanding assistant professors.

Field of Research:

Must be active in one of the following areas:

Institutional Affiliation:

  • Applicants must be employed at a university or research institution outside Germany.

Collaboration History:

  • Applicants must not have collaborated (e.g., through joint research projects or publications) with TU Dresden’s Faculty of Business and Economics in the past five years.

Host Collaboration:

  • Each project must involve a TU Dresden host — a professor or postdoc from the Faculty of Business and Economics — to foster active research cooperation.

Selection Criteria:

Fellows will be chosen by an independent international selection committee based on:

  • Proven academic excellence through top-tier publications.
  • Commitment to on-site collaboration and scholarly exchange in Dresden.
  • Theoretical and practical relevance of the proposed research project.

The 2026 selection committee includes prominent academics from leading German universities such as WWU Münster, TU Darmstadt, CAU Kiel, and FSU Jena.
