The Department of Computer Science organized an industrial visit to WeRPlay Gaming Software House on May 13, 2025. The visit, supervised by Dr. Muhammad Bilal, Lecturer, was designed to provide students with firsthand exposure to the gaming industry and insights into professional practices in game development and software engineering.

The session commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Ahmed Badar, QA Engineer, followed by an engaging introductory presentation by Ms. Himal Khan, Associate HR. She shared an overview of WeRPlay’s completed and ongoing projects, highlighting the essential skills and development phases involved in game production. Following the presentation, Mr. Ahmed Badar led a guided tour of the facility, where students visited various departments and interacted directly with team members. These interactions allowed students to explore the tools, workflows, and real-world challenges faced by professionals in the gaming industry.

The two-hour visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices. Both faculty and company representatives agreed on the importance of continued collaboration and expressed interest in organizing similar visits in the future to strengthen industry-academia linkages.
