Plantation Drive 2023

Climate change is heavily impacting our globe and leading to food insecurity, drought, wildfires, rise in temperature etc. To tackle the climate change impacts, it is important to increase plantation on earth. With the support of Islamic International University, Islamabad (IIUI), National Cleaner Production Centre (NCPC), Centre for Climate Research and Development (CCRD), CUI organized a plantation drive 2023 on 30th March 2023. More than hundred fruit plants were planted in Islamabad and distributed among the potential candidates in Rawalpindi to combat not only environmental issues, global warming and to enhance natural beauty but also to provide them good and healthy food in future.
