Meeting with Mr. Aftab Alam Khan

A meeting of CCRD members with Mr. Aftab Alam Khan, Chief Executive officer in Resilient Future International Pvt Ltd (RFI), was held on 16 June 2022 at COMSATS University Islamabad. Meeting was chaired by Professor Athar Hussain Head CCRD. The main objective of this meeting was the interaction of CCRD members with Mr. Aftab Alam Khan and how CCRD and RFI can-work together in different fields, especially in Climate science. Mr. Aftab Alam Khan has twenty-year experience of developing people centric and climate resilient solutions in Asia, Africa, Latin America connected with global policy, advocacy and campaigns in Europe and Americas. RFI is a research, training and evaluation company registered under Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Professor Athar Hussain described the role of Journalism in Climate Change, he highlighted some foreign examples how Climate Journalism contributing the spreading the Climate change issue. Professor Athar Hussain also described the different projects of the CCRD and future mission. It was discussed how the two institutions can share their resources for an effective collaboration. At the end of the meeting, Professor Athar Hussain presented a souvenir to Mr. Aftab Alam, and thanked all the participants.
